Donald Chump

I've written and recorded two Donald Trump songs in a bid to avoid World War III.

Donald, get outta here and Donald Jump. One country and one funk, depending on your preferences. They're not overly flattering of the man himself.

Please share if preventing his presidency is your priority.

Thanks to the wonderful Sara Mazzaccaro for singing with me, Denis Citera for drumming and Pasquale Curcio for producing and playing.

Hey Jack, long time no see. Good to see you are still Troubadoring. I've written a song about Trump too. Well, not so much about him, but inspired by him. It's about a guy who says what he wants and turns the tables on the world of politically correct oatmeal that defines our Mickey Mouse media today. It's about having the freedom to call it as you see it in a world of people being named, shamed and vilified by little PC 'Brownshirts' on Facebook, and other people who really have no idea about what is going on that just engage in free wheeling character assassination - the kind of people who are basically closed minded and fanatical, usually young and naive, or ill-informed. I'll send it your way when it's done. Here's to freedom of thought and speech!

Hi Ed Sorry, just seeing this comment! Great you're writing topical songs. Not sure if I have the same stance as you though... people who rage against political correctness are usually using it as an excuse to restrictive conservative ideas. Michael Tomasky puts it well when he says... "cultural and racial resentment, felt by the mostly older and very white population the GOP increasingly represents—resentment against a fast-changing, more openly sexual America, as well as against dark-skinned immigrants, and White House occupants, and gay people and political correctness and the “moocher class” and all the rest." http://www.nybooks.com/articles/2015/09/24/trump/ But if you explain in differently in a clever song then I'm open to hear it. Bring on free speech!
